How is this different from Zapier, Make, n8n, or Workato?
Those platforms are strong automation builders. iAnswer is packaged for small-business owners
who want the outcome handled: capture the conversation, update the right system, create the task,
notify the right person, and show what happened.
Do we have to build the automation ourselves?
No. We build the first workflow with you. Small-business owners should not have to find, hire,
and manage an integration developer just to connect their calls, messages, records, tasks, and
follow-up. We do the setup, test it with you, and keep the first launch focused on one useful
outcome.
What is an automation action?
An automation action is one completed step iAnswer performs, such as creating a task, updating a
customer record, preparing an invoice step, sending a reminder, or notifying a team member.
What counts as a connected system?
A connected system is one external business tool used in the workflow, such as a CRM, calendar,
accounting app, job-management app, phone system, email platform, or internal database.
Can I start without voice or SMS?
Yes. Automation Core is designed for customers who want to start with back-office work such as
notes, tasks, records, reminders, and handoffs before adding customer-facing communication channels.
Do you offer an annual prepay discount?
Yes. Use the Annual billing option above the plans to see 12-month prepay pricing with a 15%
discount. Automation Core is $2,030/year upfront, Automation + Communications is $3,050/year
upfront, and Operations Pro is $5,090/year upfront. Custom annual agreements can include prepay
discounts when terms are fixed.
Do complex integrations require 12 months paid up front?
Sometimes. If an integration requires custom build work, deeper testing, or special system access,
we may require 12 months paid up front before launch. We explain that before you approve the scope.
If you are not happy with the service, you can cancel at any time; any refund or credit terms for
prepaid work are handled in the proposal.
Can iAnswer use our current phone number or systems?
The setup can be designed around your current phone approach and the systems you already use.
In many deployments, iAnswer works in the background first, then adds voice, SMS, or web chat when
the workflow is ready.
Can we bring our own voice, SMS, or AI services?
Yes. If you already have voice, SMS, or AI services you want to keep using, talk to sales. In some
cases, iAnswer can connect to your existing back-end services and reduce the published plan price
because we are not supplying the same usage layer.
What happens when a task needs a person?
Your workflow can include review and escalation rules so sensitive, urgent, or uncertain steps go
to the right team member before anything is completed.
Can we add custom workflows later?
Yes. The plans are designed to start with the highest-value workflow first, then add more workflows,
connected systems, or communication channels as the business case becomes clear.
